Spine & Joint Diseases
Symptoms:
Joint pain, Back pain, Knee pain have become part and parcel of our hectic life style. Wrong sitting/standing postures, raised driving hours, bad road conditions have led to huge amount of spine problems in today’s society. Multiple joint pain is associated with many conditions like raised CRP, uric acid, rheumatoid factor etc.
Diagnosis:
Spondylitis, Spondylitis refers to inflammation and degeneration in spine. Sciatica, Lumbar Disc Protrusion, Disc Degeneration, Lumbago are different conditions involved in it. It is Vata-Kapha or Vata-Pitta issue according to Ayurved. Multiple Joint pain can be related to Arthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis or Gout or other condition. Vata/ rakta/ Aama (produce of chronic indigestion) are contributory factors in them.
Treatment:
Our treatment protocols developed from experience and research of decades are used according to diagnosis. Apart from pain killing modules, root cause of pain is corrected. Digestion/ Metabolism are improved so that nutritional elements like calcium, magnesium are properly utilized by tissues. Different medicines and Panchakarma treatments (particularly Basti, Pinda Sweda, Patra-Pottali Sweda, Dhara) are used for pacifying vata and pitta and for strengthening bones, ligaments, muscles.
Digestion & Liver & Piles
Symptoms:
Hurry- worry-Curry are said to be main three culprits in today’s life style. Hurry symbolizes improper food timings, Curry symbolizes the fast food, hotel food & Worry is equally culprit to affect your digestion and sleep. Acidity, Sourness in mouth, mouth ulcers, burning in throat/ chest/ abdomen, belching, nausea, vomiting, indigestion, gases, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, mucus in stool, blood in stool, painful stool are all symptoms related with Digestive system. Liver disorders manifest in yellow eyes, abdominal pain dark urine, swelling, loss of appetite.
Diagnosis:
Detailed case taking, examination of patient, some investigations help to make correct diagnosis. GERD (Gastro esophageal Reflux), Ulcers can be diagnosis in severe acidity cases. ‘Grahani’ is a disease mentioned in Ayurveda where patient need to go toilets for many times. Grahani manifests with weakness, mental stress, headache, vertigo and many other symptoms. Belching/ gases/indigestion are usually diagnosed for ‘Gulma’, the unique diagnosis mentioned in Ayurveda. Mucus /blood in stool are usually due to colitis. Constipation and anal pain with or without bleeding can be due to ‘Piles’/ ‘Fissure’. Liver disorders are understood via clinical and laboratorial examinations as well as sonography. Liver cyst, Gall bladder stones or fatty liver are common to be diagnosed on sonography.
Treatment:
We treat them best! According to Ayurveda, in most of patients, variety of diseases starts from the abnormality in digestion itself. We have developed formulations form experience to treat all of them acidity, piles, fissure etc. We have successfully treated many cases of gall bladder stones and other liver conditions using ayurvedic herbal preparations, tablets. Dietary dos and don’ts (Pathya/ Apathya) are important while treating digestive issues.
Male & Female Infertility
Symptoms
Infertility i.e. inability to conceive/become pregnant with some diagnosed conditions (in male of female partner) or undiagnosed situations is a common problem today.
Diagnosis
There are literally n number of causes and conditions associated with infertility. A thorough case taking and few investigations are needed to diagnose the situation.
In Females:according to allopathic science PCOD (Polycystic ovarian disease), tubal block, endometrium (innermost layer of uterus) disorders, TORCH test positive, follicle growth/ rupture issues, low AMH (a hormone) are commonly seen as diagnosis. Ayurvedic thought process is however unique. We go for thorough ayurvedic diagnosis and ‘Nadi Pareeksha’ which plays the important role while deciding treatment plans.
In Males:less sperm count, low sperm motility and low quality sperms are the conditions. Stress, Global warming, use of pesticides, fast foods are few causes.
Surprisingly there are many couples who do not have any technical diagnosis that can be labeled. Every report is normal and yet there is an ‘unexplained infertility’.
Treatment
In Females: We treat the uterus, ovary and or hormonal imbalance. We have specialized gold formulations to empower the reproductive organs like ovary and uterus. Panchakarma plays an important role in these treatments.
In Males: We have far efficiently treated all sperm related issues within a treatment span of very few months. Sperm count, motility and quality of sperms issues treated successfully. Gold compounds and Panchakarma again plays important role in male infertility.
In ‘Unexplained Infertility’: We have successfully treated many such cases where reports are normal but unfortunately the couple is unable to conceive. Panchkarma the ayurvedic detox is important here.
Diabetes & Diabetic Complications
Symptoms:
Diabetics suffer from variety of issues. Weakness, burning feet, urine frequency, weakness, sleep issues, erectile dysfunction and more. In later stages Diabetic Nephropathy (Kidney dysfunction), Neuropathy (Nerve dysfunction), Cardiomyopathy (Heart dysfunction) and Retinopathy (Eye dysfunction) and unhealing wounds are seen as complications.
Diagnosis:
Is done with laboratory tests.
Treatment:
We have successfully treated many diabetic issues like weakness, raised sugar levels, erectile dysfunctions and more. We also offer treatments for all Diabetic Complications even including unhealing wounds.
Kidney Diseases
Symptoms:
Less urination and body inflammation and nausea/ vomiting are common symptoms. Pediatric Nephrotic syndrome, chronic renal failure, CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) are common diagnosis where ayurveda helps a lot.
Diagnosis:
Diagnosis is possible only with laboratorial investigations like Blood urea, Serum creatinine levels and ultrasonography & urine examination showing proteins.
Treatment:
We have efficiently treated patients of Pediatric Nephrotic syndrome, chronic renal failure, CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) and diabetic kidney diseases.
Allergy & Migraine
Symptoms:
Allergy is a reaction from body’s defense mechanism. Skin itching, urticarial, allergic bronchitis, allergic sinus/ cold are commonly seen. Migraine is a chronic headache sometimes half or full of it. It is also seen associated with vertigo and acidity. Sometimes vomiting relieves headache.
Diagnosis:
Diagnosis is on case taking with nadi pareeksha in clinic only.
Treatment:
We have far successfully treated allergies and migraine with unique research formulations developed. Panchakarma is useful for these patients.
Cancer
Symptoms:
Symptoms vary as cancer varies from organs to organs, pain and weight loss are common. After diagnosis patients usually go for radiations and chemotheraptic treatments. These treatments result in further symptoms like mental, physical weakness, digestion problems, nausea, tastelessness, further weakness etc.
Diagnosis:
Is with laboratorial investigations.
Treatment:
The scope and limitations for ayurvedic treatment options for a cancer patient vary according to stage of cancer, condition of patients, complications occurred and status of spread of cancer. Ayurveda is a treasure of many anti-cancer herbs. Some old Patients or cases where nothing is left in conventional treatments opt to take only Ayurveda treatment for their cancer. Another big group of patients opt for chemotherapy/ radiation. To combat the side-effects of radiations and chemotherapy, weakness and other complications again patients need to go for alternative medicine. Ayurveda offers a lot from for them, as ayurveda not only targets cancer cells but boost immunity, boosts digestion and empower body tissues. As they say, Ayurveda adds years to life and more importantly life to years! We have treated variety of such patients of different cancers.
Psorasis /Skin Diseases & Hair treatments
Symptoms:
Itching, burning, roughness, cracking, secretions from skin are the symptoms. Greying and fall of hairs are main skin issues related with hairs. Alopecia is a hair loss of autoimmune origin.
Diagnosis:
Is done at OPD level.
Treatment:
We have treated good range of skin diseases starting from pimples up to a psoriasis involving 90% of skin. Skin issues are often related with liver, digestion issues and thus only external application of medicines do not work. We have far efficiently treated cases of Alopecia.
